Abraçada (pronounced ah-brah-SAH-dhah) is the Catalan word for “hug,” and that’s exactly what this shawl feels like to me. Warm, textured, and wonderfully relaxing to knit, it’s an easy piece to wear and style, and totally unisex! Tito loves his :)
Designed with repeatable motifs, Abraçada is especially well suited to gradients. You can simply knit until you run out, making the most of every precious skein.
Instructions are included for Husky (500 yards), Mammoth (800 yards), Beast Mode (1200 yards), and Kraken (1600 yards). The final pattern repeat can be worked as many times as you like, and an i-cord bind-off gives the shawl a polished, finished edge.
