The Migration shawl (so named for the ‘flying V’ formation in the first chart, reminiscent of Canada Geese) is a one skein shawl designed for The Blue Brick Niagara MCN sport weight yarn. The shawl uses basic lace on the right side rows, and all wrong side rows are ‘rest rows’ - all purling. Migration is perfect for showcasing a long run gradient and blocks to a generous 50” wingspan.
You will need:
1 skein of The Blue Brick Killarney Sock Husky, or 1 skein of The Blue Brick Point Pelee Lace Mammoth (Sample shown in ‘Iceberg' for sock and 'Gerber Daisy' for lace)
4mm circular needles, at least 24" long
2 stitch markers
Tapestry needle for weaving in ends
