This is more of a tutorial/formula than it is a pattern, because the scarf is a super easy way to make your yarn or gradient patterns appear in a lengthwise fashion rather than a widthwise one :) It’s easy and mindless and the results are super fun! You don’t need to use my yarn, it can definitely be a great stash buster! Variegated yarns will also shine. However, if you did want to create a gradient with matching fringe as depicted, you can always email :)
I am most assuredly *not* a crochet or fringe expert! Please forgive me if the pattern is a bit amateurish and have fun with it :)
You will need:
About 800 yards of your chosen yarn. Sample shown in a
Killarney mammoth, in colourway “Pride”. Plus 150 matching yarn for the fringe.
3.5 mm crochet hook
Tapestry needle for weaving in ends.
Size: Variable. Sample shown is 80” x 9”
Gauge: Not critical, sample shown is: 16 double crochet: 1”
