Off to the Press!
The book went to print last night, so I’m pretty stoked =D I’m excited to be through all the stages of writing, pouring resin, editing, photography and processing – this definitely feels like it’s been a huge task. I would have never gotten there without my brilliant editor Leslie Ordal and my generous proof reader Rayna (psst! Head on over to Rayna’s new blog to check out her awesome, free sock pattern!).
Today I wanted to show off another project from the book that was inspired by my work in polymer clay. For those of you who are familiar, this is very similar to the ‘sutton slice technique’ and allows you to get a very fine resin detail that you can then incorporate into pendants, rings, whatever you like!
It’s a little more time-intensive than some of the other projects, but the results are so unique, and absolutely worth it.
PS – Don’t forget to enter my contest to win a free printed copy!
