Cartagena can be worked as either a shawl or a cowl, in one colour or two, it’s up to you! Worked in the luxurious Muskoka Luxe DK it’s guaranteed to be smooshy and soft when complete. With a super simple construction, it’s a perfect travel companion. It was for me; and I completed it just in time to take the FO shots in -you guessed it- Cartagena!
You will need:
- Cowl: One skein of The Blue Brick Muskoka DK (350yards) - shown in “Glaze”
- Shawl: Two skeins of The Blue Brick Muskoka DK (350yards x2) - shown in “Wine Grapes” and “Birch”
- Cowl: 16” circulars Shawl: At least 24” circulars Both: 4 mm needles or size needed to obtain gauge
- Tapestry needle
- 4 stitch markers
Size:
- Cowl: 20” neck opening, 18” deep
- Shawl: 60” wide, 30” deep
- Gauge:
- 6 stitches = 1” in stockinette
